Apparently I’ve Been Checking Out of Hotels Wrong This Whole Time

three times even though I know I never used it.

Then I drag my suitcase downstairs, walk up to the front desk, wait my turn, tell them I’m leaving, return the room keys, and finally walk out.

To me, that was just the hotel checkout process.

How else would you leave a hotel?

Then I traveled with a friend who completely changed the way I look at this.

He packed his suitcase, walked straight out of the hotel, put his bags in the car and was ready to leave.
