Aunt Melissa stood behind Caleb, staring into the room.
“I thought this room was empty.”
“It wasn’t.”
Her face drained.
“Oh my God.”
She immediately reached for her suitcase.
“Erin, I’m sorry.”
Ron appeared behind her.
“What?”
Melissa pointed inside.
“This was set up for her.”
Ron glanced into the room.
Then shrugged.
“She can use the master bedroom.”
“It’s upstairs.”
“You’re thirty-one.”
Melissa snapped, “Ron, shut up.”
