the Little Symbols Mean
Once you start noticing packaging details, you realize how much information is hiding in plain sight.
The tiny recycling symbols.
The little numbers inside them.
The arrows on packaging.
The small markings on bottles.
The ridges on containers.
The weird indentation in certain caps.
The tiny hole in certain kitchen utensils.
All of these things look like meaningless manufacturing details until someone explains why they’re there.
Then suddenly they seem obvious.
You wonder:
“How did I never know this?”
And that’s one of my favorite kinds
