The room froze.
The attorney beside Richard suddenly looked uncomfortable.
Miriam continued.
“‘Any resulting child of the marriage shall become the designated beneficiary of the shareholder’s voting trust under terms established in Schedule C.’”
Judge Halpern raised an eyebrow.
“Schedule C?”
“Attached, Your Honor.”
The judge flipped through several pages.
