Here’s a fun challenge.
Show the picture to a friend and ask:
“How many holes are in this shirt?”
Don’t give them any hints.
Watch how quickly they answer.
Then ask them to explain their reasoning.
You may get:
“Four!”
“Six!”
“Eight!”
“Twelve!”
And depending on how they’re interpreting
the word hole, several of those answers can be argued.
That’s what makes this particular brain teaser so much more interesting than a simple counting exercise.
