I barely slept.
Worked remotely whenever possible.
Took legal consulting projects after the children went to bed.
Learned how to stretch every dollar.
Every minute.
Every ounce of energy.
The twins shared one bedroom.
The triplets shared another.
Hand-me-down clothes rotated endlessly.
Birthday cakes were homemade.
Vacations meant picnics at the local park.
But there was one thing my children never lacked.
Love.
They grew surrounded by it.
And because of that, something remarkable happened.
They flourished.
