Then someone told me the dull side is supposed to face the food.
And suddenly I realized something slightly embarrassing:
I have absolutely no idea what either side is actually for.
Why Are the Two Sides Different?
This is the part that makes the whole thing confusing.
If you’ve ever looked closely at aluminum foil, you’ve noticed it has two different-looking sides.
One side is shiny.
The other side is dull.
Naturally, your brain starts making assumptions.
