Apparently You’re Not Supposed to Mow the Grass Right After It Rains

My neighbor practically yelled across the yard when he saw me about to mow the grass right after it rained.

I had the mower out, the rain had stopped, and I was literally about to start when he waved me down and said, “DON’T mow it yet.”

I thought he was messing with me.

The grass wasn’t flooded. It wasn’t still raining. There wasn’t some giant puddle covering the lawn.

It was just wet.
